Vowels:
A - sounds as in father, gather
E - sounds as in element, emblem, send
I - sounds as in pill, rich
O - sounds as in of, or, for
U - sounds as in full, pull

COnsonants
c - as in cap, color, cushion
ch - considered only as one letter sounds as in chalk, chest
f - sounds as in fool, food
g - sounds as in gang, gold, gusto
h- doesnt sound in spanish (silent)
j - sounds as in hard, hall home
ll - sounds as in million
ñ - sounds as in españa
R - strong sound when it is the initial letter, soft when intermediate
Rr - has a strong sound as in horror, terrible
y - sounds as in yello
z - sounds as in think, through


DIPTONGO
The simultaneous sound of two vowels is called dipthong (dipthongo)

ai - aire (air)
ay - hay (there is)
au - causa (cause)
ei - peine (comb)
eu - deuda (debt)
ia - viaje (trip)
ie - tiempo (time)
io - Dios (God)
iu - ciudad (city)
ua - agua (water)
ue - bueno (good)
ui - cuidado (care)
ou - couta (qouta, share)

Tripthongs occur when tow weak vowels (i, u) and one strong vowel (a, e, o) in between them are pronounce with only one sound. There are four thripthongs in Spanish namely:
iai - appreciais (you appreciate)
iei - as in principieis (may you begin)
uai - as in averiguais (you find out)
